camera angles

this is such an interesting topic! The camera angle marks the specific location at which the camera is placed to take a shot. there are different camera angles. The first camera angle is high angle. A high angle shot is when the camera looks down on the character or subject from an elevated perspective. This presents characters from a perspective that makes them seem vulnerable or diminished.
Now coming to low angle shot. In cinematography, a low-angle shot is a shot from a camera angle positioned anywhere below the eye line, pointing upward. It is often used to indicate a position of power - the audience is forced to look up at a character.
another very commonly used angle is the eye level. An eye level shot refers to when the level of your camera is placed at the same height as the eyes of the characters in your frame. This is usually used when two people are talking to each other. directors use it to dissolve the barrier between the viewers and the story.
Another angle is the dutch tilt or also known as the canted angle. This angle is used to show that something is wrong or disorienting.
furthermore, the bird's eye view/the aerial shot is a classic camera angle and is taken from an elevated vantage point than what id framed in the shot.Aerial shots gives viewers a deeper understanding of what is happening.
lastly, worm's eye view is when the camera is extremely low. it is the opposite of the bird's eye view.
These are all the angles used by the cinematographer to create different effects. angles make the audience emotional, confused and sometimes empathetic. It all depends on what you want the audience to feel.
